Maaloula
Maaloula is an ancient Christian town, dug into the mountainside not far from Damascus. The residents of Maaloula still speak Aramaic the language of Jesus, and are firm believers in Christianity. Maaloula holds some of the oldest and most beautiful, churches and convents in Christendom.
