Northwest of the Atlantic and working its way towards Bengal, this Solar Eclipse will pass
through the Northeast of Syria near the city of Al Hassakeh. The clear skies of the Syrian
summer will make this region a major destination for astronomers and amateur pursuers of
astronomy.
